An all-age Sheffield Mental Health Guide

Also managed by Sheffield Flourish is a website called the Sheffield Mental Health Guide, which complements this website by providing information on mental health support, services and mental health-friendly activities. Like this website, the Sheffield Mental Health Guide is also coproduced with people who have lived experience.

We’re delighted to announce that we (Sheffield Flourish) will continue to host and develop the Sheffield Mental Health Guide which is newly contracted for a period of three years with Sheffield City Council.

The Sheffield Mental Health Guide will be developed into an all-age guide, with a focus on relaunching a site that is user-friendly for Children and Younger People and accessible for people who have a learning disability or autism.

We cannot wait to develop the site further, working alongside our website developers Hive IT, who continue to do amazing jobs across all four of our websites.

Please look out for the co-design sessions that we will be hosting from March onwards – we’re looking forward to hearing people’s views on how the website should be developed and ways in which we can improve things.

Another exciting bit of news… some of you may have got your hand on the paper version of the Sheffield Mental Health Guide and many of you fed back about how useful these are. Fortunately, we can announce that they will be back in action this year. Just like the website, we will be looking for feedback (and collating feedback that we have already) to improve the paper versions, and also develop a Children and Younger Person paper version. We’ll need some time to develop these and get them to print, but eyes peeled for what will be one of many announcements about the All-Age Sheffield Mental Health Guide!

We aim to launch the all-age Sheffield Mental Health Guide website in the late summer months of 2023.
